Both are completely awesome.
Oscillation is probably the most accessible one. TheBeast would be fun if there was an event built around it I think, special maps, someone special as the beast and quite a lot of opponents.
Jailbreak and Speedball are a no-brainer.
I'm also more partial to timetrial than obstacle but it doesn't really matter that much. Biggest hurdle I see are the maps, they got progressively harder and longer. I think fondly of the early timetrial maps that didn't take that long to complete and the challenge was more in shaving off seconds.
Another fun gamemode that I haven't seen mentioned yet is the olympic disciplines one. It's probably not finished yet but people really seem to love it.
