And what about TheBeast and Oscillation? Those are two of my favorites. Oscillation is complete anarchy, especially when things work out just right and you can get unlimited nucleus. Probably the most crazy mode I've played in Storm.

Both are completely awesome.
Oscillation is probably the most accessible one. TheBeast would be fun if there was an event built around it I think, special maps, someone special as the beast and quite a lot of opponents.

Jailbreak and Speedball are a no-brainer.

I'm also more partial to timetrial than obstacle but it doesn't really matter that much. Biggest hurdle I see are the maps, they got progressively harder and longer. I think fondly of the early timetrial maps that didn't take that long to complete and the challenge was more in shaving off seconds.

Another fun gamemode that I haven't seen mentioned yet is the olympic disciplines one. It's probably not finished yet but people really seem to love it.
