Re: Congratulations Maniaplanet!
Oh, I don't know, how about...you know, actually useful stuff such as being able to see the CD keys for your games, change which email is associated with your account, correct and useful information on the wiki, things like that? Everything else that's bad is listed in the first post, the page is a nightmare if you actually like to have some semblance of control over your account.TMarc wrote:honestly what do we really need from ManiaPlanet website?
Links to download & purchase the games? are there.
Links to the forums and Wiki? are there.
Information about the games? Is there, but not much, as the best way to discover is to play, and not much can be revealed for Valley at the moment.
So what is missing? Nothing I guess.
I prefer Nadeo finishes the games instead of working on a nice web page

Please don't mix up the ManiPlanet presentation page, with the player profile page and with the Wiki, as those are 3 totally different topicsFluffyMeowington wrote:Oh, I don't know, how about...you know, actually useful stuff such as being able to see the CD keys for your games, change which email is associated with your account, correct and useful information on the wiki, things like that? A few remarks to what you're asking for:
- CD Keys will never be available on the Player profile (security and privacy reason)
- E-mail address can be changed ingame in the profile menu
About the look&feel, I agree it could be more kind of a "corporate design" or seemless integration.

Which, to me as a customer, is completely irrelevant (I'm not even an average customer, because average customers wouldn't have said a thing and just moved on and recommended their friends to stay away- which, you can be sure, I am doing anyway).TMarc wrote:Please don't mix up the ManiPlanet presentation page, with the player profile page and with the Wiki, as those are 3 totally different topics
All I, the stupid customer, know is that I came to the website to do a few minor changes in my account.
I couldn't make any of said changes, because the website didn't let me. I went to the wiki, which was barely legible and contained incorrect information (and forced me to use a second browser because I couldn't be sure the dysfunctional link on the wiki was actually dysfunctional in firefox [like so many other things on the site]). I then went to the support pages, which again contained no helpful information whatsoever, forcing me to open a ticket with (the highly esteemed) customer-support. A ticket, which can not be tracked by me, the customer. That is about as ridiculous as it gets.
CD key not visible for security/privacy reasons, are you serious? I am in charge of my privacy and if Nadeo (or whoever, I don't care, I'm just a customer) has so little confidence in their security protocols that a password is not secure enough, then they need to implement additional security measures. Hiding sensitive information from the customer "for security reasons" is laughable (which is why no one else does this).
Changing email in-game, thanks for the heads-up. Once more though, we are not in the 90s anymore.
Whoever is in charge of this site seriously needs to step their game up, minimum effort companies and the people defending them are a huge problem in this industry, in no other field would people stand for shit like this.
I have said what I had to say, take it or leave it. I'm leaving it.

Thanks for your input, let's hope it will help to improve the websites.
But please consider the following: only if you stay calm and polite (and don't use "shit" words"), your wishes might be considered.

Re: Congratulations Maniaplanet!
Also, some options that are available on the TMUF player page are still missing on the Maniaplanet player page like Copper Bonus - which would be Planet Bonus
, the possibility to delete a server (which maybe is no more used), etc.
But I agree there's ton of new features as well but I don't really understand why some options that already exist haven't been added from the beginning
