Yeah that's what I was thinking about... Since it would need to redefine the behaviour and the allowance of the player movement while using these surfaces. But you didn't say impossible ! *tehehe *

Wow, total nice demonstration, clearly a good way of presenting your idea.
Yet for it to be throughly though out, its like the wood planks, yet curved, basically, or you start to change the dynamic physics of the characters matched speed and agility.
Make sense no? Put into gameplay and doesn't appear to be consistent with movement in the kinda of techy yet rural environments. Yet again, what the idea represents is a slippery momentum to glide for?? So in sharing the same thought, might you expand the idea to concave it to fit, incased, between the area of two blocks or with four corners, like a skatepark effect, or perhaps like a waterslide tunnel effect through hills or even tubes that
run through water. I would say outside, yet that might look odd, depending on how its made.
Hope that puts some focus on your idea, ya?? Honestly, that.. I would just like some ladders, or some animal wooden crates to jump up on.. with some bots to push around.. Say where did the birds go??

I didn't get everything you said but yeah, everything you mentioned was part of the Idea. I also already presented 'sphere' like corners, allowing to take a nice curve.
Though, many people have been assimilating these surface to wooden plates that already exist in the game. The thing is that wooden plates do not allow the player to have a real control of its trajectory. The surface I was thinking about is more like the blue speed path... except that with some speed momentum, you would be able to "climb" the vertical ones. thus allowing to make the moves I illustrated.
