Could you do a comparison of both installations? E.g. using BeyondCompare?
Just to make sure they're really identical (except the player profile perhaps).

Then, do the maps you want to play also actually have the podium block inside?
It is perhaps not that the game files are missing, but that the block was simply not placed in a map?

On both computers they were installed with the same installer, and have the same updates and everything, so it should be the same. The maps are the default maps that come with the game, and as I said, whenever the game is logged into an online account hosting a game works fine, it's just that hosting or joining a LAN game while offline brings up the error message. There is no reason why this shouldn't be working out of the box.
At this moment I don't even know what the podium block is, nor have I made or downloaded any custom content. Everything is just the default content in the game.

Looks like a bug then. Perhaps the error message is misleading.

Did you try the dedicated server? This could be used as workaround.

Yeh I suspect it is kinda a bug. Anyways I'll try the dedicated server (not now as I don't have time right now) and report back whether it works or not :)

Okay I tried dedicated server, and where on earth are the maps for Royal and Elite?
Anyway the dedicated server works fine, but when I try to connect from an offline LAN account it says "Could not connect. Corrupted login." Why?

some are included in the title packs, and you can get some others here http://mania-actu.com/eng/staticpages/v ... ia_Mappack

Regarding the user, I'm not sure, but I think a offline user won't work. :|

If the latter is the case, then what is the point of having an offline mode, specifically designed for LAN play, when it doesn't even work??

Again, you don't need a user for offline dedicated server play, if you want only to play (this works fine with the original dedicated server).
It is different if you absolutely want to connect to Dedimania etc., then of course you need a valid login of a online account.

Okay, then why did you say:
"Regarding the user, I'm not sure, but I think a offline user won't work"

Anyway so then why doesn't this work? What does "corrupted login mean"?
