I don't know what is all hidden in this file aside the configuration you can select, but it already showed for others that a deletion fixed some unusual behavior.
It made the graphics terriworse and increased the hiccup to 3 lags per second on average.

you would have to modify some settings again (max fps, synchro, filter, etc.).

Wow, that video is exactly what I get when I run through Steam ever since a month ago. I made a post in another thread but it wasn't helpful as that person wasn't using Steam. But if you are using Steam, it may be worthwhile to install standalone and shut down Steam while you play to compare. For whatever reason on my computer they don't mesh well together. Hope you sort this out, good luck.

Hylis,

I appreciate you're info and you're time, thanks.

However, i have stopped playing Stadium until i see a changelog that includes AA-support and a change in the way sounds are handled. First then will and can i start investigate this lag-issue, that i am obvioulsy not alone in having.

For me and my set-up, the game is simply not enjoyable. Without AA the screen is "vibrating" and the drift-sounds in dirt is waaaaay to loud and overexposed on my 5-1-system.

You are promising the "good old Stadium", same gameplay but with the improved Graphics of ManiaPlanet. Well, for me, this change is for the worse.

So, until if and when these issues are resolved, i am a not a TM2S-player.

Oh, and in case anybody wonders, yes, i have bought and paid for my TM2S (and TM2C which i am also not playing) as well as my TMUF, so i am not somebody who is along for the free ride....... :roflol:

" metoxys" "pedal"

do you guys run the game in steam?

"edk"

i have the same problem and i play the game in steam, i been doing some test, and found that is the steam friends, if i go offline in steam friends, i can play with the video settings all high without having a single sudden lag even with servers full of players, but, with steam friends online, i have those lags with the lowest video settings and even in solo mode

also, does this have something to do with the thing that i see my steam friends no-trackamania-players being show in the ingame friends?
