Closest to what you want will probably be a Development Kit for a specific game without the launcher.

To clear it up a bit: there's companies who develop game engines, there's companies who design games and (nadeo is one of these) there's companies who do both.

As the same engine will be used to build other games (shootmania/dedimania) i highly doubt they will freely give out the engine. Best you will get is a bunch of preselected parameters you can alter, at least untill all 3 games are released.

So you'll need to own a registered copy to actually work on a mod and test your work.

With the arrival of a new game, it also lures new people. For all we know he could be a developer of mods from a different game seeking out new adventures with a new engine.

He could be--but I recognize his name. He's a guy from the TM-Forum who made a rant-thread about how bug-ridden TMNF was, so obscene that it ended up getting locked...so I don't know what he's doing here, unless he's changed his ways.

Just wanted to correct my self, I wanted an Environment Development Kit available for everyone. Not a free to play trackmania 2. And I bought it anyway.

Nadeo has worked over 2 years to make this game. They invested so much money and time they could use to spend with their families and with social life.
You do a game for over 2 years and then I will make you give it away for free, ok?

environment kit will never happen and youd have 100000's of enviros of 100mg+ to download every different map.,however i am disappointed that modding tools are not integrated into tm yet, maybe something for the future releases
