Look around ;) There are servers that take note of karma ratings and remove maps if the karma gets too low.
I think you misunderstand what i've said.. ;)
I was saying that the GB server/s did not seem to care in regards to 'karma' and that I play on servers that do remove maps when karma is low. i.e. CSB1 , SSM aswell as many others.
Hope you get my drift .. :)

Just some loose thoughts about game and trying to have some fun. Call it however you want to.
It's similar to friends response to your question about "is something good?".
Like:
-So, how is that new game you bought lately, the Hotline Miami?
-It's kinda weird, but soundtrack kicks ass and overall the game is somehow absolutely awesome. It was like 2€ on Steam and metascore is huge. You should try it. ;D

As you can see, the answer was clearly not a review, which would be very unprofessional, but you get the point if the game is worth to interest about.

And btw. it's not "only 1 unsatisfied person". It could be "only one" on that video, but there's way, WAY more such people. Proof? Go look at servers list for proof.

Hmm, I didnt hear any real bad critique in that vid to answer "why it sucks".
All nadeos games are the best, for me only one that comes even close is GTA IV but its not community game. And only editor that could be better than nadeos editor is old fps games editor ;) But its very hard to master but precise and i prefer the editor that nadeo uses even more afterall

Negative critique is useful, because it fixes the issues, but listening it too much will make you lose yourselve and your own opinions, so keep doing how you feel is good and keep up the great work and dont let simple words to bring you down! These kind of games dont grow from trees, its rare to have

For me, Valley is the same like others trackmanias. Tm2 is not a revolution. Here is problem for few players. We have 2013 and players needs something diffrent than 2005 etc.
My Gamemodes:
MP4 - Countdown, Firefight
MP3 - Reduction, Overload, Flashpoint, Territory, SM Race, Escape
MP2 - Search & Destroy, Oscillation, Instagib

I dont know who that guy is and i did not watch the video, but i agree on one point.

Maniaplanet system is the suxx. Nadeo needs to put a lot more work into it.

Entirely the opposite.

We want the 2005 game with better graphics and a few new enviroments maybe. I would even buy a TMU graphic update.

What we get is a total system change, a huge and very empty skeletton of a base structure. With no game to fill it, with the spirit of TMU knocked out of it. We get this huge structure, but no game. WHoever thougth of that should seriously be fired...

Eh, I think we've got four really good games in a system that's still, admittedly, too big for them. A forest with a few creeks running through it but give it some time and maybe a little help, and it becomes the amazon jungle.
And what we really need is a way to play all the games at once!

As far as who scaramoosh is and what he's doing, I doubt he even believes what he's saying. If he did he'd say outright in his first post that he agrees with what he says that video says. One person expressing an opinion that they don't even claim as their own isn't going to change anything and he knows that. He's not trying to change anything. I'd be willing to bet he's never even played maniaplanet. Amateur trolls lol.
Btw I figured out where the word "Eh" comes from today. Without looking up etymology or anything. It's so obvious really.

I agree that Maniaplanet has some issues, but I dont think there is a "spirit" of TMU missing from it, at least not by the fault of Nadeo. I dont think, by any stretch of the imagination, resurfacing TMU with more polygons and texture pixels would bring take Trackmania back to the 'ye old days,' and only a fraction of the old players would come back. TMU was aging, and the slipping community numbers revealed that, either because people moved on or Nadeo was too slow to bring about something fresh. Whatever 'spirit' TMU had was not extant on day one, buried in the code; it developed from a healthy community of racers, mappers, artists, coders, and all others who enjoyed TM. That spirit is still around today in Maniaplanet, but it has yet to mature.

Every new environment has a "learning curve" and feels a bit off at first but as you learn the handling of the vehicle it gets more and more fun. I didn't care for the physics in Valley the first day I played it (especially turning on dirt roads) but I'm liking it now.
