The thing is we are talking about one-two TV advertisements up to for 500 000$ of money. You really think there are enough people that will get interested and buy the game to cover up that expense? For the game that doesn't provide any entertainment other than playing for skill and has no tournaments to give you more incentive to practice? Average guy will watch the ad and forget about it in a second, there is no obvious entertainment or gain for him. I myself, for example, started playing competitive FPS having a thought at the back of my mind that maybe I will become good enough to compete in tournaments. Now I don't think I will, but that is another story.

Sponsors want to see many players and want to see tournaments with many viewers first. It has to be publishers/developers investment first, it is the only way to get sponsors.

The most efficient way to bring in players, IMO, is first organize tournaments, not one, but at leat two in a year, advertise them as budget allows. But that is a risk, and since Ubi and Nadeo are quiet regarding this so far, they don't want to take the risk.

The problem is in game and platform, not in ads

He's asking for a nadeo official statement on this subject. we are waiting.

There is some times, I saw a video ad on Youtube for SM. Why not redo that?

You probably dont play how much we do, and you probably don't even realize how bad the game is going and that is probably even too late even advertise or whatever. Most of players are gone after your "updates", and they won't come back..
