Well, nuc defending isn't half as bad as rocket attacking (a little off topic). But the nucleus is annoying even if you know where people are camping with it. Problem is that it's so big and most maps are so tight with tight pole areas. You would think that making the pole areas more open would solve this problem, but that opens up a whole new problem. Then attackers will be OP instead.

There are two sorts of people that think the nucleus is balanced in siege. The ones who haven't played it enough, or the ones who only uses nuc :)

If it bothers you, destroy nucleus with lazers :roflol:

And it depends on map. On a very open one (for example an empty map) laser is so overpowered because it has instant kill + quick reload, so it's others people's job to make a map that's balanced well.

That combo map with 2 armor just by the spawn and laser on a thin block high above the ground (I dont remember the name) is quite good, while the symmetrical map on sunset mood with arrow and laser placed on donut-shaped red platform on far right/left with offzone in the donut hole is very laser-overpowered, for instance.
