I would also note that there is other server controllers than XAseco with many good plugins that provide clean hud
(like ManiaLive + eXpansion Screenshot)

Also i would note that Records Eyepiece can be customized, so it doesn't include everything.

One of the rather small but imo quite annoying changes with this game is that the check-points in the middle of the screen will always show how good you're driving compared to your personal best (red/blue). I can understand if this is shown in Time Attack mode, but to have it be shown in Cup/Rounds/Team mode doesn't make much sense to me as it's not important information and is only a distraction, especially in matches.

I know you can disable it by using *, but then you don't see the check-points at the lower right which gives you actual important information in matches.

Ideally, more freedom when it comes to customizing the HUD would be the best solution imo. That goes for other stuff like car camera as well. I would love to be able to make Cam 2 in Stadium just as it was in the old games.
