What would you rather have them be doing? Creating a custom font for their site logo, or creating custom skins for the cars you'll soon be racing, hmm?
We need to stop worrying about stupid things like graphics and skins. It's a waste of time!
All i'm saying is that if you are going to be professional its better to spend an extra 5 min (i'm sure most companies can spare that amount of time) to not make a font look like its been downloaded from a free font website, that's all.

Web application wise for example. Instead of having to use images you can easily embed the logo using sifr or other stuff. This way you can easily change the background image with a transition while the text stays in tact.

Yeah, this is a good point. Still, I look at other games and don't really see this - I guess that means its a classic! Well done Nadeo

Hylis, you better get on that fast, nobody is going to buy the game with this amateurish font design! I don't care about the positive things your graphic designers have done, this is unacceptable!
somehow i think Nadeo has more important things to worry about then the similarity of the two N's in the logo

There you go, you said it yourself.
I never said people wouldn't buy the game because of that, all I said (if you read the thread Jet) that its a simple 5 min job to make the change, so I don't see why (apart form it being too late) the change can't go ahead.

That's why I said that I had never said what he was sarcastically saying... ("I never said people wouldn't buy the game because of that").
Point being that he said 'amateurish font design!' which it is, and I agreed with, regardless of him being sarcastic or not.

well, in a way they are right to say it now. game is in beta and it's kind of a bug.
