I understand this, but if you give a minimum amount 'just to be part of it' you must be aware that you can reach some level by having, let's say, a team of 2 + (1 bad player) versus a 2 + (1 bad player) situation: the bad player would win point just by being there, in any of the two teams. To say it shortly, I think that 8 hits in defense, 18 hits taken, + 0 attack in a map and versus a team where you buddy have 3, in something like 16+ rounds is not enough to prove that your level is above what they already have: #50 in the world. He also is the one with the most hits against him, which can have a small influence as well.

So, it is more about what you say: give 50 LP for winning, since it would not change the rankings, but would be more cool. And he would score 500 LP in 10 matches without any attack and with the nearly worse hit ratio, just because he his with his "on fire" buddy that scores +25/-6 when himself does +9/-18. 4 vs 1/2, 8 times of difference (It's not based on that, but it's easy to illustrate the difference of ratio here)

However, if you would like to go in that direction, I can be ok with it, it's just that it should be done while knowing it. The difficult part is that with the fact that you can have a random team, it makes you capable to be in a good team without being in a good team. With fixed line up, it would be easy: the team only would have points. This is why I would like to have two rankings computed at the same time: with the current line up, with a much faster convergence ladder and one individual. The team one is cool, but it's also dangerous is you have a disband/reband, since they should have a minimum amount of team-LP to start, or they would just 'destroy' the opponents along the bronze/silver way ^_^

Anyway, it's always good to show me both 'when it feels wrong for you' and 'what you would like to see happen'

I understand what you are saying and you have some good arguements. So you explained to me what you think of the current system and it makes sense to me. So thank you for that.

However, I dont think that 10x 50LP is superbad. This would mean he has won 10 matches.
Okay, maybe in all those matches he was a bad player, but if he had 8rockets each match that would be 80rockets.
500LP for 80rockets seems reasonable to me.

Anyways, forget about the numbers. My main problem was that winning players deserve more than losers. Maybe not much, but at least something.
I think you just need to trust me on this. It gives the player a better feeling if they are rewarded. If you get the same amount as the losers you might as well just change team and be a loser.
+ Again, the TOP player couldnt have won without his teammates ( even if they are noob )
+ 8 rockets is véry much in a Elite match. Seriouly. Thats 1 rocket each defensive round. So the bad player did his job.

Thats how I look at it ^^

+ I dont think ( a little LP x Number of bad matches ) will influence the ladder that much. Other bad players will get this LP too.

I agree with your feeling. Just to add two cents: since he did 8 hits in defense, it means also that he only hit 1 defender in all of his 3 rounds of attacks. This is not quite a lot to say that he should be more than top 50 in Europe. But like I said, I agree on the feeling and should think about it.

Ok good arguments all around but still...

We only wanna award attackers?
A good defender is still needed and i like to have them
There are a lot of players not hitting with rail but very good with rockets.
So a good defender but a lousy attacker but still vital part of the team

Ok let`s say the bad player hits the 8 rockets only in defense and none in attack.

So yeah give him 10 more lp than the losers it will inspire to get better.
