You can't be sure that this is not just a joke or another player created such a skin himself.
So please stop blaming Nadeo for something they probably did not do.
And it is not necessary to flood the forum with double posts pointing to this thread.

Of course I can't be sure, but seems like this is the reason for this mystical bug, that Nadeo has not commented on. So I think pointing to this from two threads is reasonable (maybe you can combine them?).

I chatted with a player who suddenly has a beer advertisement car out of the blue. He did not download it... Not so nice.

If the problem still persists then clean your game's cache, as the cache may be near full forcing some contents to corrupt.

I been on a server where some guys said their cars changed. But I am yet to witness it myself (not using default skin tho' but I couldnt see theirs ... but then again I can't see anyone's skins)

Thinking about it , I think it's just someone playing silly buggers, see my first post on this topic. Not sure if it's possible but it could be.

Like some said, I don't think Nadeo will 'FORCE' a beer ad down everyone's throat.

i saw this rogue car on tm2 stadium roc server yesterday .. weird as f*** as the player that "had " this gp car has his own skin .. it lasted a few maps then reverted to his skin ..

so now we go from seeing only grey gp cars to rogue skins ..



edit * if it is just advertising , can it be for a different beer as heineken is awful beer

If this is a Heineken/Nadeo Guerilla Marketing campaign, it already works - we all are talking about it

More Heineken cars have popped up. Players are confused.
Nadeo, could you respond, is it really advertisement or some bug?

again, it's ingame advertising. trackmania is a relatively cheap game, and thus advertising can bring in some extra money for the developers. however, nadeo is not forcing anything down someone's throat, since you can easily turn off ingame advertising in the launcher (configure>advanced>network>disable advertising).

besides that, thank god people still have free will; people are not forced to buy something as soon as they see an ad for it. and if they do so, ingame advertising will not have been the cause of this.

Please list the servers where this is happening, and also please provide ingame screenshots.
