Allready started something like this for Attackers when players are Spectating them.
Its forced spectator but still you can switch between different players.
However its still in a beginning phase of coding and needs to be worked around better.
Its made for relay servers aswell but those are broken.
W1lla , any progress?^^

Progress status:
Design-wise, graphically is the only thing that should be done at the moment.
That is the only issue att the moment.

New suggestions;
1. LOGICAL Numpad keys
0 = Always show the attackers
1-4 Show the players in a logical order.
5 Show the map-overview with zoom in on the players ---> This view can be used to explain tactics ( its what we currently have in the game. )
6 Perfectly horizontal algined map-overview with zoom on the entire map. ---> This view can be used to explain tactics ( static, because map doesnt change )
7-9 Let us place cameras ingame
2. F8 doesnt work for spectators - Customize ammo/reload/stamina bars
--> Would love to be able to edit the hud as a spectator. This would make it easier for streamers to organise their overlays & logos & stuff
3. Center the Crosshair while spectating
This is annoying as hell once u realise that the crosshair isnt centered.
4. Left & Right Mouse button to switch between players
Increased usability
OPTIONAL:
5. Possibility to draw ( steal it from CSGO )
6. Possibility to see through walls
7. Press a button (CTRL or whatever) to show all camera/spectate options as a help text. Help is always nice. )
Ty NADEO. 1-4 is véry welcome imo.
We need more streamers & viewers.

Well, we made Statsboard for EPM and i thinked about spectator tool that will show stats for watched player (like villa's example.)

It's a step forward.
+1 to xray vision, it shouldn't be hard when each player has glow. PiP(Picture in picture) can be used the same way as splitscreen in trackmania
But I think Nadeo will do nothing to make competitive modes bigger and better by providing new tools and features, The last good patch for Elite was on B2 stage when they tried to improve the rules(walljumps, chargeshot, weapon selection).

Having four keys for individual players only works for modes that have four players. Maybe you want to have a specific Numpad for each mode? That's kinda meh. I don't see any need for those buttons anyway. In modes with more than 6 players they are useless anyway, and you can instead just right click the names on the top right and left corner, where all players are listed in their corresponding team.
Custom Cams for each map sound very, very cool actually. It should be possible to include that in the map editor so that it works independant from the mode script.

There's probably a reason why they didn't do that. When you spectate someone it's not a transition like a stream, instead the player tells you where he is and what he's doing and your pc will then compute the map etc. If I wanted to spec four people at the same time, my pc would have to do all the work four times over for each person. My pc would burn to death.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Some nice feedback there.
About the numppads --> you are obviously right, but the solution would be "acceptable to me" because most modes are just 3v3. But I admit that its not the ideal option.
Anyways, Spectating this game is not what it should be.

You are super confusing me. Bumping threads is not a feature now is it? But then how... o.O
Anyway... you got me thinking about this again and I came up with

instead of what we have now

Nice ideas but not the xray option : imagine someone has a laptop in addition to his gaming computer, next to him, so he could play and see enemies at the same time :s
