U don't know why? Well, check the map list order. People vote Rust often, as the most popular map. After the match finishes it will switch to Valley, just for you to join.

I've suggested that votemaps are allowed, it may come later.

I think matchmaking should work similar to CS:GO -> make a party in menu -> click search for match -> wait for match -> accept the match -> play on server.
