Hylis wrote:With the demo, diversity is taking the biggest step in the last decade, since items will directly be usable in any title, as long as they respect some constraints, such as using the title materials or size limit. And with this, we expect even more items for title pack creators to have even more choices of items to add to their packs. And when a custom pack will add more textures, more items can pop up using them directly, since we are working to enable the mods of the custom items.

What did i tell you all? THINK POSITIVE :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks Nadeo, thanks Ubisoft and thanks Hylis (you are my hero, standing in the storm against the pessimists )

In the last year i sometime really had the feeling, Ubisoft doesn't support Nadeo very strong ... but happily i was totally WRONG ...

Now i really have the feeling, Trackmania will be an ALL-TIME-GAME ... :pil :pil :pil

That makes me so happy, i will spend my whole free day working on my new tracks and blocks for my title .. ;)

best regards

Embedding objects in maps can be really cool, I wonder how that'll change TM. Sounds promising. :pop:

I also wonder if demo users can like create a new dummy title for themselves to play forever solo or in the editor (or with friends online), although I wouldn't mind it, it doesn't seem to get users over the line to actually buy the games. But that's not my problem and I hope for the best :P. 8-)

Demo players can't create Title Packs :)

If people prefer to abuse the system instead of simply pay for something that is much better if they do, first we will see how long they do it and then we may change the rules.

Speaking of abusing the system I'm going to check if something was fixed by maniaplanet 3. As I was able to completely bypass the demo system in maniaplanet 2 and access the full game (minus the solo and multiplayer). If it still works I'll report it and how I did it(might be better if I pm you guys instead).
Crashing happily since 2009.

Em. After update MP3 to MP4 I can place object on map and play in it online without custom title? (In standart Canyon for Example)

It'll be not in MP4 but in the next update. And yes you'll be able to add a 3D object in map without the need of a custom title (as long as you follow the rules)
