I tried to understand a little this thread thanks to Google Translate (not 100% accurate). Actually Nazi signs are illegal in several countries like in France under the "incitation to racial hatred" law.

That's why this kind of content are moderated in France (and on Maniaplanet).

According to Wikipedia, holocaust denial is not illegal after the Swedish law. There is as well, no European law that bans the Swastika. Why ban the player and not writing him a message that he will be banned according after French law? I mean, he might not know that what he did is wrong. Lets assume that he knows it, but did this as a provocation. Then the ban would be legit. But what, if he didn't know and this is still a possibility until proofed otherwise.

There is several reasons for that. First Maniaplanet is an international product so we comply with the laws of the maximum of countries and so this symbol is forbidden in most of these countries. Moreover Nadeo is located in France and must comply particularly with the French law (and as well as the US laws where Ubisoft has a major HQ (and the European HQ is in France)).

And in Maniaplanet we can't moderate the content according to a specific country so we have to take actions on a global scale.

Nice to see nadeo on the right side of the law and justice and not to permit to get negatively manipulated by some trolls here. Racism, no matter which kind, is an absolute NOGO worldwide and has nothing to do in Maniaplanet at all! That's not up for any discussion. Any player is called to report players like the moron shown in this thread to nadeo. And let the trolls troll, doesn't make any sense to try to explain or teach them anything.

Schön zu sehen, dass nadeo auf der richtigen Seite des Gesetzes und der Gerechtigkeit steht und nicht zulässt sich von einigen Trolls hier negativ beeinflußen zu lassen. Rassismus, egal in welcher Form, is ein absolutes NOGO weltweit und hat auch nichts in Maniaplanet zu suchen! Das steht außer Frage und Diskussion. Jeder Spieler ist dazu aufgerufen solche schwachsinnige Spieler wie in diesem Thread gezeigt an nadeo zu melden. Und die Trolls einfach trollen lassen, es bringt nichts einem Baum erklären zu wollen, wieso er harzt

Den habe ich auch schon gesehen, aber konnte keine illegalen Aktivitäten oder Rassismus feststellen, wenn ich micht korrekt erinner. Schon etwas länger her.

Zu den nicht diskussionsfähigen Deutschen hier (hiermit beziehe ich mich auf insomnia-yamyam und ManiaDesign), viel Spaß bei eurem Gutmensch sein. Thank you very much. This means the decision was made only after the French law forcing it upon all other laws as the US law does not contain a part against showing the swastika and holocaust denial. E.g., see the game "South park and the stick of truth" by Ubisoft which contains this things and only is only censored in states with the according laws. Which means that Ubisoft is changing their games content according to national laws. Thus, I wonder which kind of support Nadeo gets, if not at least juridical one. I mean, I don't have the general terms and conditions in front of me at the moment, but this kind of action (banning a user without warning) could result even in a law process of the given user or at least a request of redounding of the game.

yamyam hat mit der meldung alles richtig gemacht und das zählt. sowas hat in tm nichts verloren wird aber immer wieder mal vorkommen. freut mich das nadeo so schnell reagiert hat
