Nope, that is not working either, because some players cant connect through the masterservers.
Allready tried maniaplanet://#join=smurfer@TMCanyon

Same issue but I can use multi env and legacy browser to play but most of my fav servers are not there.

Seems like manialinks don't work either,so it might be a problem with manialinks
