Why would they remake the current/soon-to-be-old environments? This goes along with the feeling by some that Canyon is just a new desert, but for those that cant tell, there are a number of things that are
vastly different.

No they wont do that.
To me, the canyon looks like its a mix of desert and island. Should be fun!

All environments are new. Remember that there aren't many good themes for an environment so they may look like some TM1 envis.

They have no idea how awesome it would be to have an environment set in a futuristic city. The graphical potential is through the roof. I would never
EVER play any other game in my LIFE if Nadeo made such an environment!!!

POD remember me more on a futuristic NFS or Flatout than on TM. You didn't get it what TM really is.

The futuristic maps would be SIIICK! When I said canyon looks like a mix of island and desert, I wasn't really talking about the environment. I was talking about how the car seems to handle. Island for the speed and the slides and some noslide, but desert with the lean (yuck imo).
