i don't know anything about this mp01 ......when i click on connection to log it say " connection to mp01.maniaplanet.com" half a second then you are not connected to internet error http 2 148 098 052 ...
yes i can access to my player page with no problem.(but trying to join the game via player page make the same thing).
my internet provider is shosh ( orange) but all was working good before & i hv troubles only with maniaplanet

at least it's working with debug version ;thx

mp01 is one of the masterservers of ManiaPlanet.

open a cmd box, and enter
tracert mp01.maniaplanet.com

is the host reachable?
which IP address is shown for mp01.maniaplanet.com ?

did you reset your Windows internet and Internet explorer connection settings?
ManiaPlanet uses Windows & Internet Explorer connection.
If the Internet Explorer is in offline mode, this also blocks ManiaPlanet.
But this should also prevent the debug version from working...

It's very strange that you and two other guys have a similar issue... look here...

i just saw that my version of internet explorer is "no more supported" by windows ,i got a very old pc , maybe there is a bug in my Windows... i will hv to play with debug version until i change pc i think . I notice that troen is a stunter too , maybe max17 too , something with title stunter or custom objects maybe ....

Perhaps temporary remove the Stunters title pack from your packs folder for a try?

Try also to reset your network connection settings of ManiaPlanet configuration tab to defaults.

stunts title manually removed from folder mydocs/maniaplanet/packs ..... doesn't change anything.
I'm since this bug in default settings in launcher. (bench setting don't work too)

Is there any chance that you can update your Internet Explorer ? Which version do you have ? Which version of Windows do you have ?

I have internet explorer 6 on a windows xp sp2 , but when i try update they say my windows key is not valide & i can't update it. They want i buy windows 7 or 8 ...... i never use ie so i never tried to update it before and i discovered i got an invalid windows key ....So i need to find a valid key to update windows & ie. Or i should buy a new pc ....

i just tried the solution of deleting 4 lines on system32/etc/host as said in faq for storm for error 12029.

but i can't find those lines after multiples check ....

Is there a way to "force " my connection to mp02 server ?? my game always try with mp01 .

What change in last update ?? before i was able to play with normal connection ,even if manialinks not working & for main titles i had to click on legacy browser to see server list.

(deleting stunts made me loose all my lps there )
