Having snap over 75/80 results in a bad gaming experience.
I usually play with 115-120 snap in matchmaking. My ping is usually 30-32. If my connection was the problem, I would expect my ping to be higher.
In most games, high ping usually indicates a problem with your connection.
This is on a UK fibre optic connection. The problem here is exclusively nadeo's random "snapshot delta" and "net vision" stuff. I have no issues whatosever relating to lag in other games, and it's no coincidence that these games don't have a magical snapshot delta / net vision stat.
On the royal server I play (Hysteria Race, French server) I usually have the same ping of around 30 and the same snap of around 120. Because I'm not having to shoot railgun, the character models being desynced is less of a problem on royal than it is on MM. Even delayed rockets is not so big a deal, just shoot wider angles.
For me, 120 snap is "playable" because I'm used to it and I just work around it. Probably better if it wasn't so high, but the game is still playable.
Rockets take significantly longer to fire (there is a noticeable delay from clicking to actually seeing the rocket shoot). Sometimes rockets will fire twice. Initially the rock fires, when I click, then that rocket will "disappear" or "lag back in time", and shoot again.
Movement also stutters, and the game will sometimes force you to jump. No reason, you just all of a sudden find yourself off the ground.
Rockets which are shot to the left / right of you, if you just moved from that direction will still hit you also.

My connection is fine. I have no problems in any other games whatsoever. In Shootmania I have what you could call "high snap". Why? Good question. If Nadeo didn't invent "magic" stuff like snapshot in the first place it would have been a better game. Unreal Engine had tick rate. Which was completely server side, and completely independent from connection. From what I can gather on the actual definition of snapshot delta, it also should be 100% independent from connection. Apparently, this is not the case.

Having netvision over 10 too.
That's the real point, because with a snap over 80 the game is just broke.
Has it ever been explained what "netvision" even does? I found a vague explanation about snapshot delta from hylis somewhere, but the explanation he provided, and the explanation of snapshot delta which I found online do not explain why snapshot delta f*cks with the game so much.
