I think maniaplanet is great concept and so much better than single releases would be without maniaplanet system connection.
Lorisa, I think you have misunderstood your needs. The playerbase might have gone smaller, but its not Nadeos fault, but actually a problem for them. So Nadeo cant be accused for the reason what they see aswell a problem.
Also, it seems you want updates. But how many games really get this much updates? Do you remember the first Stadium?
It didnt get almost any updates. People just enjoyed playing the game as it was. It was new thing back then.
It got huge because it was free. It got even bigger culture with TMX and competitions.
You might have got bored playing the game and you want something new, but thats normal, its not reason to hate Nadeo or demand anything from them.
Afterall, its 11 years of history for TM series, its long time to stick around playing the same concept games. People will move on, playerbase will switch. How many of you have kept anything with same passion for 11 years?
This leads me to another topic. I think i have said this, but I would love Nadeo to do new plot games in the future. Bringing the maniaplanet to the next level, new fresh stuff, new interesting future of cool games with new plots.
There is so much game plots out there, the imagination is so wide its unbelieavable, the skys the limit. Some crazy arcade robot shooter, surrealist stuff, crazy stuff, crazy blocks, cartoonish gameplay, neon light streets, cool approach, young feel.
New genres, tps, strategy, future racer, space blaster, young ghetto games, theres so much. Even PG18 games with ruff stuff that hits the market. Artistic style with guts inside the games.
Fast car game where you feel the pressure, adrenaline rush game, new plots and twists for the racing, not just racing times.
But its just my taste afterall, but i could see Nadeo could make Maniaplanet really up the top with new approach.
Just single smash hit games with completely new plots, bound with the maniaplanet system together in the gaming platform. I think these things could raise high new interest to gamer cultures.
But im just random guy with random opinions so i dont know
