Black screen with white box problem

I do have dual monitors and I also do have an oculus rift.

Then try to run Maniaplanet on the primary screen (perhaps even disable the second screen).

And if you want to run it with Oculus Rift, you need to enable extended 3D properties in the configuration dialog.

Ok, so it was the Oculus Rift that was preventing it from working.

Trackmania 2 doesn't launch with Direct Mode enabled on the Oculus Rift, even though I'm trying to play with a monitor.

To get Trackmania to work on the monitor I have to power off the Oculus Rift.

This is the only game that I have to turn off the Rift to get the game working, even though I'm not even trying to use the Rift for the game.

But nonetheless, the game is working again.

Hello all,

I'm playing Trackmania for many years, but still having problems with this issue on Canyon . I tried everything what is written on this topic but nothing helps. I'm playing on a custom build laptop BTO (sorry no space for a full size pc ) with :

Intel i7-2630QM 2.0GHz
8 GB memory
Samsung SSD Harddrives
Intel HD graphics 3000 (standard)
NVIDIA GeForce GT650m 2GB memory (gaming)
Windows 8

I manually set the NVIDIA card as standard with playing TM so it switches to NVIDIA before starting TM. Usually the game wil start and play but after some time when the game switches from track it fails and i keep getting the black screen with the white box and have to restart PC....

After all it still doesn't work and i'm soooo missing TM!!!! Please Help!
