Nope, sorry man but still not working.

Everything exactly as you said:

Added the tune, saved the map, only files in /Musics were .ogg.loc and .mux (which the game creates anyway).

Closed MP, opened it again, Local Play, loaded map music works because it's playing the .mux locally.

Closed MP, removed .mux, opened MP again, Local Play, no music.

Also, how could you hear the music using only the .loc on a new map, how did you select that as the music for the map?

Holy shit I think I've got it!

Although I'd named the file .ogg.loc, it was still actually a text file, with the suffix .txt appended but hidden!

Gonna test it now then will report back.

While doing the test drive on the map, Maniaplanet downloaded the music from the locator location,
and it placed it automatically aside the locator file.
The music was not played directly, and it might be necessary to exit the test drive mode and enter it again, at least wait some time for the download (as there is no download progress indication here).
But suddenly the music plays.

You must be doing something really wrong, or your firewall or anti virus is blocking any downloads in Maniaplanet.
Please check the launcher application settings, if you did not disable music or any p2p downloads there.
