Why can't I use my United account to log in to TM2?

Others in this very thread, have explained the correct way of using the same log in, info for both accounts. That's all I want, same info, for both accounts. When first creating a TM2 account, the logical choice to do this is to pick the already have an account selection. Which says the account doesn't exist. There is no logic in having to create a new account, with the exact same log in name and password, to accomplish what the other selection, already have an account, should do.

That's what ManiaPlanet brings, for all planned nine environments across three games, and who know what might come after that. It doesn't work retroactively across all their previous games.

TMO/TMS logins didn't work in TMN ESWC, and those not in TMU/TMF either.

Like ionian said, your credentials from your United account are reserved, so anyone can create a ManiaPlanet account with your login if they don't have the password.

But to use your TMUF login, you have to create a ManiaPlanet account with the same login and password that your TMUF account

That's what I did, or rather, tried. Create a "new" account, same name, same email, same password. Didn't work. I have two separate accounts now, which isn't really a big deal, though I would've preferred a universal one.
