The real thing to consider is that this is the internet. Negative intentions are almost always a safe bet. All Points Bulletin flares up with arguments for and against the use of this symbol in game, despite the flat out ban of it.

If the Confederate flag is denied, it is clear that something more incendiary like the Swastika will also be denied.

Regardless of moral implacations. At the end of the day there is no point reporting this. All skins, avatars, even custom track signs are outside of the control of nadeo. When you install the game it warns you and even gives you the option to disable internet content.
Unlike the previous incident of the simalarity to the confederate flag which was nadeos included content it was removed once the point was raised. But all other content you may take offence to is not from nadeo. You could try bringing it to the attention of relavent 3rd part admins in some cases etc Cars could be removed from carpark, tracks removed from exchange, but p2p data of skins and avatars there is nothing you can do other than disable p2p.

Wait, so the Confederate flag is banned? Doesn't Nadeo realise the most likely place to see that flag in Trackmania is on a General Lee skin? :?

Also, original poster, the guy is just trying to provoke you (inb4 Tibetan skin on a Chinese server  ). If he was an actual neo nazi you wouldn't be able to tell unless you knew what to look for.

Yes, but not with the number 88. :teub:

Pretty much this. Im not sure on nadeos official stance on it yet, though

This is a Nazi skin, it should not be allowed and the player should be banned immediately. It is mandatory that NADEO keeps this out of their game and acts, right now. "The player has the responsibility" does not mean that they have none. They have one towards the other players, I'll say.

Yes, the swastika has been around for about 6000 years, but there is only one "international" meaning left today and that was clearly the intent of the player. This is massively offensive, and by the way, the user name is too, although on a pubertal/sexual level. Put that idiot out of my game right now.

And gregounech, if you see those anywhere, PLEASE keep reporting them. I want these bastards gone.

Yes, the confederate flag is banned, and I'm the one who got it banned. As a black, American, Trackmaniac, that particular image has a rather sensitive and unpleasant connotation for me. Just like the swastika has a rather sensitive and unpleasant connotation for our Jewish and Israeli Trackmaniacs. Nobody's trying to promote censorship here, but the fact that it was crudely scrawled onto the car, with the number 88 as it has been said, and in dark, foreboding colors rather than drawn as the buddhist element of peace or however, it leads many rational and skeptical players to believe that the player in question was doing this simply to be inappropriate. And this is the reason the report function exists. Otherwise, I could draw a penis-car with huge boobs on the hood and no one could complain. BTW, before you forget, this game -does- have a rating of PEGI 3+, or ESRB E for Everyone. This isn't Battlefield 3. Kids play this game, and are expected to be able to with a minimum of fuss...

Wake up guys, that's nazi, 88 is for HH (Heil Hitler). If some of you think neo nazism is just "trolling" please grow up. I don't play a game to see stupid children showing nazi symbols while I want to have fun. This is about hate and a lot of people are confronted in real life with those nazi bastards and don't think saying "Heil Hitler" is just "trolling"... Furthermore this falls under the law of several countries and under the law of mine.

Nadeo has to clean up there player base from people like that, a game does not have to become a hate gallery.

I totally agree with the Vainamoinen's post.

Kick nazis before they become numerous.
