So why pay 39€ :thx:
Are there any benefits if you preorder?
Why pay 39€? To support the developers instead of those fishy key seller sites who obtain keys illegaly to sell them for money.
There are no benefits for preorders, except that you save 5 bucks off the original price.
[Edited by Cerovan: Nop, too risky for the players]

I've been buying my games there for years and I've been in esports-team sponsored by [Edited by Cerovan: being sponsored doesn't mean it's legit]. Never had one single issue with them. Not every site besides steam/uplay/origin is fishy. Only fishy sites are fishy.

I wasn't talking about [Edited by Cerovan] in particular, rather about those keyseller sites in general.

The game looks so good I want to preorder, but it's againt my principles. Maybe I should make an exception .

Because those "cheap" sellers are actually stolen keys and the developer makes 0 profit off those.. so buying those just gives money to some random scammer rather than give money to the developer. This is literally worse than piracy.

Did not realize that this was so "damaging" to the dev or others.
All I wanted to do was make some people happy because they can pay less... and I've been using it for years.

Sorry again

I don't know if we can trust you Miss, a key is bound to an account, so how they can steal a serial? Two same serials at the same time online cannot work, so one of 2 will be kicked ? or the serial will be banned? The 'scammers' steal the whole steam account? How it works? If they steal a steam account (it has also the custom question of the birth location) and change the password it is in any case bound to a valid email, so they steal even that too?
There are also sites where these keys are sold at a lower price than steam, but probably they are not bound to any account yet. You can see from their feedback/votes, which is 100% positive by their buyers.

Maybe they are bulldozing into the game publishers office and grab a stack of serials :D. Kinda weird ha!

I receive a whole lot of emails every couple weeks asking for Steam keys because "review for <insert big youtube channel here>". Valve recommends every developer to ask for verification from these "reviewers" first (Youtube/Twitter message, etc), because if you send them keys, they will be sold on these key selling websites for a profit, and you get nothing. My product has been sold on one of these sites a few times (I wasn't paying much attention to it before sadly), which really surprised me back then. So I'm speaking from experience :P

Just a few days ago I received an email from some guy claiming he doesn't have any money to buy my product, but asking for a Steam key because <insert reasonable reasons here>, but also claiming that he used a trial version before (which does not exist). Called him out on it, never received a response back. I could show what some of these and the more generic scam emails look like, but basically, publishers generally don't want to be bothered to take the time and verify these, so keys are scammed away more often than you think.

Previous versions had a bundle deal (3 or 5 licences) for a lesser amount. Anything similar here ? There are 3 in the family that play TM , hence the question.

A key isn't bound before you bind it to an account. There is several ways to get fraudulent keys:

- People asking for review keys because they have a small blog/little website/little Youtube account (or none at all they just tried to get a key for free) to sell it to keysellers
- Buying keys with stolen credit cards on legitimate sellers to then sell them at keysellers (but before the purchase is detected fraudulent, the key has already been sold).
- the marginal case, from keys got with graphic card where players aren't interested or from Humble Bundle.

That's usually why you can find game keys so cheap at keysellers.
