I don't think that's a cheat at all. Everyone who plays the map drives the other car. Like it was the case in TrackMania United or even 2.

HAH! I mentioned ways of getting this to work during the livestreams, looks like I was right when i predicted how it would work somehow.

Nice work domino54! Thank you for improving Trackmania Turbo.

Also, I think its more than moving files here and there from the last pic.

Well Nadeo won't think it's a cheat first of all, but it offers some more possibilities. Everybody drives with the same car on the same environment, it's not a real cheat, where for example people drive with the stadium car and you only with the Lagoon car. I mean, have you played TMUF ? (or maniaplanet tho)

I already ripped the models on Day 1, and someone is working on them already, it will take some time, but they will be there soon.

Indeed, these are just maps with modified headers. To be more precise, these 2 maps are just challenges imported from TrackMania 2 title pack. As the default maptype in Turbo is RaceCE and ManiaPlanet maps are just Race, game won't adapt editor to Turbo test mode and run legacy scripts instead.

once again the community add to the game what should been there in the first place making nadeo looks like total ass for not including mixing (and TMarc for trying to defend their decision), but i'm still worried about one thing

Too slow!
Obviously I had to try it immediately after release and it works the exact same. Lagoon magnetic roads don't work with other vehicles, Nando still blocks vehicle overrides on stadium.

Too bad you've screamed it into the wild though, it'll probably be patched now.
