I did indeed, uninstalled them now but it's still not working :/

This bit is interesting.. Maybe the drivers are not completely gone even though I've uninstalled them?

I think you should clean well your video drivers and install them new.

You don't have the Shield by chance? Because also here users have reported issues.

This did the trick, both fullscreen (all resolutions) and vscync are now working fine. And the game feels a lot smoother now.
