I highly doubt ech 5 players will be put together with ech 9 if enough players, so don't panic. If there are not enough players, of course the solution would be increasing the ladder cap in mm servers.

It's a step forward towards a better high level games quality but I guess mid range ladderboard will be ruined somehow.
I hope you can handle properly the fact there will (may) be more accounts under ech5 than from ech5 to 9.

Also, why is this decision made only in Elite trial? It should be like this everywhere (not TM)

This change is a way to control the massive amount of smurfs in this game imo

Fyi: Restriction on Gold MM is currently 50100 LP and 100 wins.

Usualy there are only 6people ready at the same time in the MM-lobbies. So if one of those players is a E5 then he'll get matched with the rest. ( Because there are no other players to find a better/morebalanced match.)

Sadly MM is kinda empty nowadays which results in quite a few unbalanced matches ( as described above )

Creating a gamemode where you need to pay for having an higher rank level is quite similar to a PAY TO WIN game. But instead of paying an object / gun, you pay a rank, it's even worst.

If you don't want cheaters/ haters then stop playing video games. They are everywhere...

Want a trial? Play a trial. Limited by the fact it's a trial, not a full version.

You like the game? Buy it, support the devs. That's what all game crackers say.
Want to have unlimited access to all features: nickname, avatar, servers, editor, customization, unlimited ladder? Buy the game.

Where is the pay to win? Do you have more accuracy, do better moves, unlimited stamina, have a bigger hitbox if you buy the game? No. You are just ranking and time limited to prevent secondary/smurf/trollers to reach highlevel matches. Do you need to be echelon 9 to enjoy the game? then go challenger on lol or global elite in csgo.

I'd be more strict with this stuff, I'd go further by just making temporary accounts for trial members. Yea it could bring more trollers but i'd make a clean ladderboard with just bought accounts. (dont take me serious)
