Okay, I'm planning on automating things even more later this year, is it useful to have some kind of prerelease (RC) version for servers maybe to overcome the extra waiting?

Did you also had this in the 2017-08-02 version? I don't have the issue on the 2017-08-02 versions on 20+ servers right now. (didn't update yet, and not going to do if I read this).

No problem with the 2017-08-02 version.
Only a long time to shut down servers but usage of memory correct.

just to double check: you're saying there's a memory problem in 2017-08-03 while 2017-08-02 was ok?

yes for me that's it :-/
Before the update : 8 servers running with a total of 50-60 % of memory usage.
After update, 1 server use 33% !

News : i have erased a file named cheksum.txt (txt file -> 1Go) in userdata/config directory and now it's ok.
Server use 0.7% of RAM.
Sorry for convenience but if it could help someone...

This ill-named and ill-placed file contains the entries for the P2P cache.
So I guess if it was so big then you also have a huge disk cache, which is in CommonData/ dir (you can safely erase CommonData/, it only contains caches)
