Hello guys!


I am showing you a new showcase of my work on this titlepack:

Not bad, but I think that menu can use some work.

Do you mean it have to have more functions or it have to be more polished?
Anyway, I did some work on it, in both ways:

The buttons at the bottom look very "simple" and a little inconsistent with the rest of the UI. Perhaps get rid of the different colors for them and use 1 color? Could help slightly.

Well, I decided to do the buttons coloured, each page has its colour. For example if you go to play campaign, the menu is green, if you go to settings, the menu will be brown, etc.
Do you think it's wrong?

First of all, thanks very much you set this up!
I'm a big Island lover,
and play still the old TMUF game.
I have a server with only Island tracks.
And man...we have still a lot fun there
So when I last days hear that maybe in 2020 old TMUF will be closed,
i was shocked!!
Is this realy true?
You know anything or about this?

But after the big schock.
I read your TrackMania² United Forever title pack idea.
That makes me happy in one shot

Luckely i had buy some canyon and valley a couple years ago.
Only I didn't like..and even so..didn't play.
But that would be just a personal thing.
I remember those days that TrackMania² will be the new game.
I was very excited what this would bring us,
and could not wait for the game came out.
But man....once I had the game buyed and try it.
What a big disappointment!!
The whole feeling what we had on the old TMUF game was gone.

But oeps....i whent back what i would tell and ask!
Becourse i had some parts of TM² buyed years ago,
now i needed only stadium to play your pack.
So i buy it 2 weeks ago.
And of course try a couple tracks in solo mode.
I notice that the car have some different feeling.
But oke...you try to make something.
So the driving feeling from the old TMUF game i most let go^^

People need to discover this work from you
Becourse i didn't see any server yet.
Maybe it will be soon....I hope!
Or I complete missed the servers,
and did I look on the wrong place^^
I tell the people so much i can about this!

I need just XASECO2?

But i'm realy a big noob with this.
Once i know what i needed...I search out how it work,
and learn all from then step by step.

But now the Main thing...the tracks!!
I can't build tracks.
So is it possible to let tracks from the old TMUF work in the new TMUF²?
Of course i know that bik files are a problem,
and will not work.
But is it possible to convert the constrution of the tracks,
into working tracks in the new version?
Roughly something as Old GBX file into New GBX file?
here also applies to me ... it is only an idea

I tried my best with current tools in ManiaPlanet. There are lot of limits in vehicle editor.

There's channel for stadium environment. The other environments aren't supported yet by TM2UF on servers, unfortunatelly.
Ofcourse you can tell about this (TM2UF or TM2U Island) titlepack your friends, but the TM2UF is still in unfished state - maybe you have seen some missing blocks or issues in Stunt gamemode. So I wanted to finish 1 environment (Island) and publish it completed. You will be able to create your server on TM2U Island with no problems. You will be able to run race, platform and stunt modes.

Just bring it up.

No, it is not possible to do it now. The whole map system is incompatible. I don't think that will be ever possible. Maybe one day in very far future. It is only possible to convert stadium tracks with no problems.
You can build the tracks in track editor. You can blockmix without using of unlimiter in TM2UF or TM2U Island.

Thanks for the detailed answer!
It is pretty clear.

I look at UASECO for the server.
That looks not so easy,
Compared with TMFserver tool I use now.
But some day i most get it worked.

Stadium is not my favo environment.
So I hope when you got it all worked right.
People start building tracks with your TMUF² pack.
Those tracks i like to add into the server.
But I have some time I think.
Because it's in beta mode.

Please take your time.
And do not be rushed.

I love to be a tester

When the open beta will be released, you will create a server if you want
I've started to work on multiplayer scripts right now.
