So, again, is there a solution or something?

I was getting those occasionally too with maps heavy on vehicles and graphics.
I think the latest update was suppose to address and fix this.
CPU: Intel I7-4770 64Bit @ 3.4Ghz.
Ram: 32GB DDR3
GPU: Geforce GXT 1060 6.2GB DDR5
Windows: 7 Pro SP1 64bit

Okay, I tried again the "Offline Fix" after the update (Offline on Steam).

It worked, there are some occasional stutters but it's less frustrating.

That said, it's not the best.

NADEO should do something about this.

Not all stutters are caused by Nadeo :!:
As written some time before, your own system can also be the cause...

Surely the CPU is not the best, but I'm talking about the Steam related microstutters.

I mean, how does that even work?

I can't enjoy my game while staying online on Steam?

I don't want to say "that's dumb", but it kinda is.

If it is the Steam client, then the causes are:
- loading of ads for games
- checking for updates
- events of your friends, like chat status change, playing games
- long ping to steam servers (here you could perhaps select a different server)

No tmarc, the reason is that ManiaPlanet is gathering events from Steam such as a friend coming online/offline or starting a game. It used to do this for the old friends list, but since it’s not used anymore it’s kinda useless now.

I hope they remove it soon.

So the fix is easier than ever for them.

Just a matter of time I guess.

Easiest fix is to simply use the standalone executable of ManiaPlanet instead of the Steam one. Though you may still have some as i have every now and then, but probably caused by my setup and what i had in the background in my case. Generally when i close most of the stuff in the background (like severals tabs opened in Firefox, including some with regular refreshs via websockets/else) there's no microstutter.
