I have been testing them all And i must say Xaseco2 is the best so far.. only problem with that i have discovered the images they use do not show in some countries.. like imageshack, so all i see is shitty logos on my top right screen, hope they can get that solve or get somone who host the images so that all countries can view the images that needs to be showed.

To the OP: it's FoxControl (with one 'r'), and you forgot FAST4 by Slig.

Comments like that are undeserved, for any controller. These are tools made by people in their spare time as a community service. You may not like this one or that one, but four-letter words are not needed to express that preference.

That's not a problem with XAseco2 as it doesn't include any images. You're probably talking about the Fufi's Widgets plugin. You can solve that by hosting your own images yourself.


Anyway, thanks for the various positive comments about XAseco[2]. But those who bash other controllers should do well to remember that Fast(2/3/4) and (X)Aseco[2] have been around for many years, with hundreds of hours of development poured into them. That gives them an advantage in stability and feature richness that other, more recent controllers cannot quickly match. But I'm sure the MLEPP and FC teams are doing their best.

Like with TMF, for which about 20 controllers exist, eventually there will be quite a few different controllers for ManiaPlanet/TrackMania², especially when ShootMania and QuestMania come around as they'll have different demands and spark different ideas. And likewise, a few of those will be really popular. While I'm pleased that XAseco2 appears to be one of them, it doesn't mean the other tools are less valuable as community contributions and learning experiences.

I agree. Currently it's too early to make a decision. Next week I will present my own server tool. I hope it will be competitive.

i do like fox & xaseco 2 on my dedicated atm there´s xaseco, bcause the hosters are used to it, but i have no plugins at all from my hosters. , so no mx connection, and so on, no betcha no donating.

in fox i am able to write those plugins, thats why i like fox also. so i am still not shure which is better, xaseco is nice, but without plugins its not enough. (cant change the plugins , bcause my hoster does this)

"no plugins at all" cannot be true, because then XAseco[2] doesn't do anything.

As for MX and donate functionality, those aren't available yet, so that's not something to blame your hoster for. You could blame me, but that doesn't help either.

Most third-party plugins also still need to be ported, so all you need is patience (I know, very hard in this age of instant gratification...).

the hard thing is: i allready coded mx plugin for fox, ts3 viewer and some other small things, but my hoster stays with xaseco , which, is of course a good controller.

then rent a server directly and host yourself on it, so you will use what you want on it

Here my 2 cents....
First of all my HUGE COMPLIMENTS to ALL of you guys that are working on the scripts, lately I found out how much time and effort you guys put in. All of that for free, in your own time so that we, mere drivers, can enjoy this game with more or less graphics, and a sh*t load of plugins to look forward to. To choose between any is like asking what kinda girl looks best in bikini.... it all depends on personal taste and wishes. So please before asking who or whats best, ask yourselves what you expect from the proggie, and use the one that is closest to your wishes.
MLEPP,XASECO and FOX are the best!!
(So forget about FAST, etc , etc, etc????)

foxcontrol, for me it didn´t run good,
the anticrash script was crashing,the new beta was not starting with the sh, without it started, but crashes then.

however, for me I don´t feel to say much, just
