[Medal System] Gold Medals are much too Easy

When i started my first try for Gold on E03 yesterday afternoon the Sun was still up...

Wow, is your controller or keyboard still in working condition? I would have been throwing things with that much time for frustration build-up!

Also, is there something you have to do before you can get author medals? I got some pretty good times (or so I thought) on White and Blue tracks, but I never got anything past gold.

Haha, yeah they still are intact :-> ... i changed batteries of my gamepad before one of the many attempts on getting Gold on E05 though...just in case ^_^

And while there was no problem with the batteries...there were issues with the driver^^...i crashed in Round13 of 15 several times... ...well, meanwhile i crashed in every of the 15 rounds i guess...

...and although i did not start throwing things...i had a very big smile when i finally made the Gold time^^

Also, is there something you have to do before you can get author medals? I got some pretty good times (or so I thought) on White and Blue tracks, but I never got anything past gold.

When you have gotten Gold on all White, Green, Blue and Red maps and have unlocked the Black maps you will also be able to select the Author Medal Time as an opponent.

Receiving Author Medals is possible from the beginning.

If you desperately want to see an Author Medal :- >> maybe try A-03 --> AT is 00'17''60

But as stated above, you will have to wait to also see the Author Times till you have enabled the Black 'Extreme' maps (and then also have the possibility to drive against the Author Ghosts)...by then one of the very fast new Trackmaniacs for sure will open up a Topic 'Author Medals are too easy'

The white and blue tracks have always been easy to obtain gold in. Just wait to you get around to red and black, and you will retract this forum post.

The only exception to this is the very last map E05. That map has a ridiculously easy gold medal. Beat it by 16 seconds on my first complete run.

Gold medals are too easy? I think you're forgetting about all of us non-nolifers that think Gold medals are fine and challenging just where they are, thank you I have yet to get my first--granted, I've only raced like a dozen times in solo mode, but I can usually blaze through and get golds on at least the white tracks--but now, it takes me a few tries...

Considering the gold car slows down at the start just to let you pass it up on most of the white tracks, that's pretty sad. Maybe if you played more instead of posting so much on the forums, you'd realize how easy most of the gold medals are. I took all the A and B track gold medals on the first try of each track :/

Hmm, maybe if I wasn't constantly at work trying to earn money or taking care of my child, then yes, I would. And maybe if you weren't such a jerk then we could actually have a conversation.
