nVidia = awesome
Hell, nVidia even is on my car skin!
Damn, nVidia even is inside my laptop!
Uuuugh...
But I seriously cannot help you. Make it as good as possible.
And remember, AMD are very cheap because they are poor. And nVidia ain't that expensive. It depends on ze performance.

ok did a little check for you, because im such a nice guy

actually im just bored as the tm2 master server is down lol

these are the 2 best cards i can find, you may find them slightly cheaper at other places, but i use this site as a benchmark because its continuously updated and user friendly

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-msi- ... link-dvi-i

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-sapp ... yport-hdmi

both cards even support dx11 and although they are above your £50 these cards will allow you to play games at decent resolutions and medium graphic settings. you wont get better for your money unless you buy 2nd hand or find some bargin(at a risk) on ebay

the next sort of card you would be looking at is a nvidia 550ti which will be about £100, there is not much inbetween worth noting

just make sure your case and motherboard can take the upgrade, although anything should be fine with low range cards like these

When I am going to build a desktop in a few years, I'll use 2 GTX 580 SLI if there won't be new nvidia cards :D

Hi,

1 general tip for all - Don't be brand religious, sometimes it will take your pounds, euros or dollars, even though sometimes your brand sells good value for money card. Check reviews and comparison charts.

I would suggest to save abit and get a card in 150-230€ price range for more future proof card.

Radeon HD 6850 / Radeon HD 6850 Toxic seem to be currently good value for money card in that range. GTX 460 1gb also if you can find one cheaply.

I use only ATI, if you are able to do the right settings manually, the graphic card fly!
Ati is the best.
I have a Ati 4870 2Gb Vapor-X @790Mhz and di average of 80Fps.
Anyway 50 is not much to play TM.
I think you need minimum a 6670 1Gb ~ 110€

When I watch a video that I made in 30 fps with VLC media player and increase the playback speed to 200% my laptop goes 60 fps and it is such a pleasure for the eyes, that I get eyegasms

If you can't see a difference between 30 and 60 fps you should see a doctor because something is seriously wrong with your eyes!
