I see it also in another way than Knutselmaaster. As far as i understand, the environments will be different for each game, but each game will start with one environment (for SM it will be Cyro) and than add seperatly new environments. But the environments for one game, won't be the ones for another game.

The Planning is 1 environment every three months, alternating the 3 games.
So; first environment TM², 3 months later the first environment for SM, 3 months later the first environment for QM, 3 months later the second environment for TM², 3 months later the second environment for SM, 3 months later the second environment for QM etc

How many environments did you count to get to 2017?

It will be more like knutsel said already, but only until they have released 3 envis for each game.
Then they have planned to only release one envi per year and per game, because they just cannot make that many Envis in such a short time.
The High number of Envi-releases at the beginning is just because they are working on all the Envis simultaneous. And that for around 3 years or so.

So you won't have that many Envis until 2017

Actually Hylis said 1 Environment every 3 months, 3 different games, that means 3 envis every 9 month -> 3/4 of a year. Maniaplanet is designed to have 5 environments for each game in the end, that's a total of 15. Divided by 3 it's 5, so 5*3/4 year => ~4 years. Meaning 2015 not 2017.
