I think that perception of manners (rudeness) really boils down to what other people think though.
The only way to change what other people think is to change your behaviour. Then you get on much better in life.
If you don't do it out of a need for "flowery prose", then do it because it works. That's my point of view.

I don't think that was the goal. I'm guessing it was just venting, which is understandable given the "support" Nadeo has given to this game. The more stuff I've tried to do with it, the more unimpressed I am with them.

To make it simple, we teamed up with Ubisoft to make a long term plan. It is being done, and Maniaplanet is the forum we are on. TrackMania 2 Canyon is the first piece of the puzzle, but we are waiting for the plateform to be even stronger before going after the big way. I am not talking about boxes since many realized that most popular online games these days are like LoL and Minecraft, among others. The boxes are positive, but come with many downside issues which I would like to avoid.

You can ask question, but please avoid to give advice like this, since it is quite rude to say that we are mistaking ourselves even without the quantity of knowledge of the situation you can have. And this is without saying that this is my full time job ++ since more than 10 years ^_^

oh hi Hylis Dont get me wrong i love & have played your trackmania games for years i just dont understand some of your marketing D:. In the end i just want this game to be a success i guess, and would love too see more than a few servers active with players 24/7 but im guessing once theres another enviroment or 2 out it should pretty much sell itself. Allthough i still think a boxed version is a good idea know quite a few people that still prefer too own a physical copy, and LoL did start out with a boxed version for around 20$ heh not sure if thats still around though.

So basically maniaplanet wont get that much attention till SM is released?

Maniaplanet is TM² + SM + QM.

If Nadeo work on TM² or SM or QM, they work on ManiaPlanet. Some features for SM or QM need to add this in ManiaPlanet. We will have some new features for each game and all work in ManiaPlanet.

Dude, I live in Brazil, a country that has the world's most expensive taxes.
There are import taxes (60% of the total price of the game);
We have the "Tax on the Circulation of Merchandise and Services", ICMS (representing 40% of the total);
Contributions to employee assistance institutes, health services and salaries of politicians (who cost a lot).
At the end of the game ends up costing 160% the initial value. Because of this, that Brazil is the land of pirated games.
The downloadable version has no taxes, that is, they are cheaper.
Because of this, today I desire TrackMania Sunrise eXtreme on a new version (without StarForce and compatible with Windows 7) to download.
