Personally, I really like Canyon--just read any one of my posts around here and you'll quickly twig onto the fact that I'm probably one of the biggest fanboys around

But all that aside, the detractors do have a point. I'm a fan of analogies, so I'll use another here. Think of Trackmania so far as a big bubble. TM2 is trying to break out of that bubble, while still being part of the larger Maniaplanet-verse. So far, though, since we've only seen Trackmania CANYON (I can't stress enough that Canyon is not the sum of TM2), TM2 hasn't come into its own yet, so, if we're numbering sequentially, it feels more like TM8: The expansion pack. I'm sure though that it'll only get better as time goes on. As Hylis has said -frequently-, we're actually -ahead- of where we were at the release of United at this point. More registered players. And that's on TOP of the fact that United was only a compilation of the previous Trackmanias, which everybody should have jumped on, and TM2 is an untested enviro...
