There's never an answer to types like these. <_< It's their way or the highway. It's either Steam or it's OMG I CAN'T BUY IT LOOK AT MI 1337 SKILLZ WITH THE CAPSLOCK". Even though he didn't use capslock. >_>
*ahem*
Point being, it's simple to get a non-steam game onto steam...and it wouldn't really generate -that- much more influx of players, as we've seen. I think the -biggest- two problems hampering TM2 right now are: 1) lack of optimization for those with low-end or less-than-top-of-the-line systems, and 2) lack of advertisement. I don't know how it is over in Europe (sorry about that

) But here in the States, if you know what channels to go to, you can always find ads for the latest videogame, even semi-obscure ones...like SkyDrift (an obscure game that's a Spiritual Successor to Plane Crazy). Anyway, with a -massive- studio like Ubi, they would just need to crank out maybe a million dollars to get a big ad campaign going here. Unless they're too occupied with AC:Revelations....which could be. >_< In which case, I would be very sad, as AC:R already -has- a huge following and is already well-known.
