Best place would in ManiaLive itself, choosing API depending on a configuration option but as it's supposed to be a temporary workaround (I hope the dedicated will be fixed in a future release to need only last API), I guess anywhere should be fine.


About other callbacks, they're supposed to be compatible in ManiaLive:
onBeginMap and onEndMap still have the 2011-10-06 signature but some parameters aren't set when using 2012-06-18 API
onBeginMatch doesn't have any parameter anymore, even when using 2011-10-06 API
onEndMatch has the same signature but the second parameter depends on the API

So basically, the only change you have to made is not expecting the Map anymore in onBeginMatch.

I just noticed that I have a fatal error when I use ManiaLib\Utils\Formatting::stripStyles() function :

Indeed, even a ManiaLib issue rather than a ManiaLive one actually. Anyway, fixed on SVN, thanks for the report (If you want to fix it without the need of waiting next release, just change stripTag to stripCodes on line 39)

Oh, and I have a little request, quite simple : It would be usefull to have the version of Manialive and all plugins in the log at startup ^^ (I add it in my Manialive after each update, but I think it should be present by default)
