Offtopic Re: It will be in the middle of july or 1/2 weeks later This time it's not the Competo 24h-race, the event now takes place under the flag of Team ALTERNATE aTTaX We try our best to make it better and bigger than u have ever seen it before

Maybe it's even possible to adjust the single weather parameters, but I don't think so, because that would make trackmania not as easy as it's supposed to be

Would be cool to see rain and some lightning bolts while driving a map

Well, we've already seen that in the Stadium mod

But, as you will see in my OP, I'm not talking about a mod...as good as that mod is, I still think Nadeo could do better if they did their own effects...

I think it will be like this morning afternoon night again


but if there are weather effects, then the question is , where are the differences? I mean I dont want it rain when there is no difference in driving ( more drifting for example)

so if they do effects with the rain for example , they have to change the driving physics too and that would take long

Wiidesire, I think you seem to have Trackmania confused with some other game. This isn't a simulation...go play GTR if you want that.

dont get me wrong but what I love about trackmania is the unrealistic with loops and so on.

But if you make weather effects than you have to change the driving physics too in my opinion


if rain is the same like sun than you dont need weather effects because its useless , you know?

But it's a -visual- thing, too, since TM has always been about EPIC visuals. Plus, it's one of the last games with a decent replay feature. Hell, it's got a whole video studio basically right in-game...I can't even begin to imagine what I could do with that plus full-on weather effects!
