So the first semester of 2012 should be the first half year, that is, until the end of June

Yeah, that's what I thought. But it's just strange to hear anything outside of school referred to as a semester.

When you study in Germany, the year is divided into semester. So nothing new for us here

August/September would be rite, as not a lot of games are out and good time for release.
