It was probably mentioned to the reviewer that the next title after Storm would be a driving one called Valley and he assumed it would be another ShootMania environment, but with a car. But of course, as we all know... Valley is a TrackMania 2 title.

Edit: Actually, the exact translation from the previous page was:

"Besides we know, that Shootmania Storm is meant to be the first element of a longer series, so one can hope that it'll be expanded with another add-ons (one of them will probably contain vehicles)"

Actually Storm is the 2nd element (Canyon being the first).

Storm is part of the ManiaPlanet series of environments/titles, and indeed... future titles for ManiaPlanet will contain cars. But they will be TrackMania 2 titles.

There's nothing really wrong with what the reviewer said, except that maybe he wasn't explicit enough so that you knew those future add-ons with cars were actually TrackMania 2 titles. No shooting, except shooting movies.
