I get
invalid customisation when using the following:

Both are optionnal.
This is due to a bug in PHP (
https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=51192)... A new version has been pushed. It should work now.

I think ManiaFlash is like twitter?
I don't know why I should use it. When I want to send a message to my friends I use ManiaHome. And I'm not sure that anyone will ever find my channel.
I think that nobody will read my posts on ManiaFlash, so I post things of me still just in a forum.

In order to start you can advertise for your channel on ManiaPub. Then users will share it on their home and more and more player will reach your page.

tried 64x64 .. then 50x50 all invalid

In my case .jpg worked. Are you sure, that you uploaded them correctly and posted the directlink to it?

Yup, can access them straight from internet browser... strange the background worked 1st time and not the icon
