I think i found a bug:
I want to create a Server in a Custom - Titlepack -> I tried Platform and Raid from meuh21.
I had 1 servers running before in each of this packs. Now i can´t even handle to start one of those...
Very frustrating, but you wanna know the bug so:
When i start the server in one of those titles it is REQUIRED to run in script mode as gametype.
(Yes i know platform has its own type of script, but i don´t liked that you can´t beat records and so on, so i decided to start it with time-attack - and this worked well.. also the players liked it. When i try to start my platform server with TA-Valid maps it says something like "Incompatible Maps") server is know running in TA-Mode is Canyon with my Time-Valid Platform Maps.
So how can i get the Script of Time-Attack or Rounds for Platform and Raidpack? Changeing gamemodes in matchsetting didn´t work for me.
Hope this gets noticed, because i don´t want to let this both titlepacks die

For the record, the aggression had nothing to do with Nadeo fixing the problem... They were already working on fixing the problems. It was a bummer there were such big issues with the release, but it was a major release on a shared platform so we have to be ready for them. It doesn't make it right, it just makes it what it is.
In the future I would ask that we all be more helpful in aiding Nadeo with solving the problems rather than incessantly going off in the forums about it. Instead of unleashing the rage, let's all document as thoroughly and specifically as possible what Nadeo can do to replicate the problem.
For example, many of us couldn't run our TrackMania 2 servers because of the missing blocks issues. Some found out some of the offender maps and some documented the error messages that specified the missing blocks. Those are the kinds of things that help get the problems solved, not the rage. The rage didn't make Nadeo listen more.... They already care about making a quality product. Perfect? Certainly not, but they will listen to us much better if we treat them with respect and give them as much detailed information as possible; especially because we all configure/run our servers differently. That said, Nadeo can't think of every scenario nor have the hardware resources or staff resources to test all the scenarios. So they do the best they can with what they have... And when we can provide specific scenarios as new problems arise, they can add the most problematic ones to their arsenal and figure out more thorough ways to test against those in future releases.
So let us keep the feedback coming, but keep it respectful so we can best work together to keep all ManiaPlanet games the best they can be.
The 2012-12-20 update is looking awesome for both my TM2 and SM servers! Thanks for the fix!

Okay, this is really really truely the last thing I'll write about this:
If there would have been an clear official statement around 20:00h CET the whole shitload would have been held back because everybody would have exactly known Nadeo was aware of it and fixing it or about to fix it.
As I've written before. My problem was that in my opinion the whole Nadeo team was online on the maniaplanet forum working on shootmania but none of them had time to tell the loyal TM players what the hey was going on.
THAT and only THAT is my problem and because I didnt trust my game anymore i decided to be frigging annoying all night.

@zarexz: Valid point. I track both forums, but don't ever really separate the two... so I just realized something had been said, but didn't factor in that it might not have been said on the TrackMania side of things... otherwise I would have helped get the word spread there too. Hopefully that communication will happen on both sides next time.
@alinoa: You're welcome. I know you all have been on little to no sleep for most of this year trying to crank all of this out and make ManiaPlanet work well with both games, despite the emphasis being on ShootMania of a necessity. I will admit that TrackMania is my true love, and I'm REALLY looking forward to Valley and Stadium (and whatever else you all are cooking up over there); but not being a FPS guy I'm very much enjoying ShootMania too... especially now that I can Tarzan around with the grappling hook!
Note: (If any of you don't know what I'm talking about yet, go check out our Team FNG server in the USA | Utah zone and make sure to queue up the "Beta2Play" map by SpeedMonger.)
On another note, I just got the latest Xaseco2 running on my TrackMania 2 server as well and so far so good. I will monitor when I have more people in it to see how it goes.
Should we be moving this conversation over to the 2012-12-20 thread?
Merry Christmas everyone! I'm looking forward to some ManiaHolidays with the kids, and hope Nadeo gets a little time off to enjoy Christmas with their families!
