This also happens when I go into the map editor with a empty map.

Hi,

I just pushed a small update to the Titlepack, simplifying some of the buildings to reduce odd shadows and lag. I also added some lights to windows so it looks better at night.

If you see these buildings have huge black shadows on your existing tracks, just re-compute shadows and it should be fine ;)

big work !! :1010

this question isn't really about this title pack, but ...

Could it be possible, when there is an update, to download only the update instead of the whole title pack again ?

I mean, as when we want to download a title pack or its update ingame,
we can't go on any server or do anything in ManiaPlanet,
we just have to wait ...
this is not a problem with little title packs like WTC ( 29 Mo),
but with big ones like Valley City (556 Mo , update 575 Mo) or Raid ( 1.2 Go) ...
it can easily take hours especially when we have small bandwidth ...

couldn't it be like when Nadeo makes an update of Canyon ?

I understand that here, it was certainly not possible because you have change some objects, but how will it be when you want to add a few things to your title pack ? will we have to wait hours and hours again ?

That's what I expected but it seems it just re downloads the whole pack again which is just pointless.

Either that or I'm doing something wrong with the update system. :(

yes and yes.

If you want the buildings too look nicer than they were before (less ugly shadows), then yes. (And more simpler).

in fact, I have made a mistake ...

I hadn't made the update and when going in your pack, the game told me to update the title,
when it was written 575 Mo, I should have understood that it was the title pack size
if fact the update is only 18 Mo ...
we only know that once we begin to download ...
