There are a lot of small bugs, yeah.
To be honest, before I got invited into the closed beta I was hoping for a public one, but now I kind of want it to stay a small little community of testers. Kind of selfish, i know, but i think most people feel that way :P

Right now I think there's about 350-400 testers, and the beta forum is packed. Thinking rationally, 8,000 people would just be ridiculous.

There is no solo campaign yet (or any solo mode at all,) just online and the editor. (which is why they call it the Multiplayer beta) ^^

A public beta can still be fine without allowing them all access to the beta forums. They could still report defects as needed to those that do have access so the place doesn't get more overwhelmed than it may already be.

But it still would help serve as a great load/stress test.

I know a lot have been arguing whether or not there will be one, and I won't say either way; but I thought Hylis mentioned somewhere that there might be one -- I can't remember where and don't have time to look it up at the moment.

Bottom line: Don't hold your breath for one, but be pleasantly surprised and excited if there is.

Why does almost no one have the loop in a map? I know it's hard but I'd like to see it.
