I like the idea that with this features everybody will be able to create their own blocks or skins easily. I'm looking forward to some awesome stuff coming for ShootMania!
But I also think that there should be some way to save the own creations. Like domino said it would be very sad if some players can just copy your hard work and claim it their own.

Such a pity if we start a copyright law and no one is allowed to build on each others development, or shall we put a limit on peoples creativity when it can actually be something good. That's because when money is involved , people get greedy an have no respect for each other. Is so why people are so secret about some developments because the fear of thief. I, for example use a lot of peoples coding as my textbook to see how it's done in large volumes then playing pick a part. It's a lot easier to learn from experience and from pieces of a puzzle. To be an individual that would not respect others an not lay claim in full to be part of the credit, is enduringily sad and I would have pity on that persons accountabilty to enjoy another's persons project development. Just saying... If we all advanced on helping each other, we could release a new game already and focus on much important things than gaming for life.

It's an underlaying issue.

That debate is endless, it is double-edged sword.

Thanks for another preview. I do appreciate it

I, however, would prefere to see a preview related to gameplay and design of the game. A preview which shows of actual gameplay bugfixes, new blocks, new gameplay mechanics, improvements, snap(?), graphical updates, new design elements, ...
I dont know the numbers, but I'm sure the majority of us have TM/SM installed just to PLAY and not code/develop/script or create. In other words they dont value this 3rd preview that much. The same can be said about preview#1 in which you adressed performance. Dont get me wrong.... having better performance is awesome, but my game is working just fine.
With all these previews it feels like you have once again adressed the minority of your playerbase. These previews do nothing for me as I'm looking forward to see new gameplay elements, content en improvements of the actual game.
I'm sorry
So can we expect any previews like this or is MP4 purely an update for the content creators/coders in this community?
Thank you for your reply.

Yes, the next previews should be more on the games themselves. We will go back to system at the very end of the previews to 'try' to put the big puzzle all together ^_^
About corrections, it will be more during the beta. At the moment we concentrate more putting in place some more things to build later on them. I repeat the main phases:
3 months : we talk about the next big challenges in Hello Planet and the studio concentrate on them
3 months : preview articles to focus on some upcoming changes, Nadeo devs core things
3 months : private beta with engaged & positive players that wishes to improve/polish before release
3 months : regular updates to adapt to what's working and what could be quickly improved.
these months are also with holidays, so it's not stricly 3 months on the calendar.
And keep in mind that it's only half of the agenda and team effort since we also develop new things in parallel such as Trackmania² Lagoon.

Can't wait to see Lagoon.

I suppose we will see it in a future preview?

I can't wait to see more graphical changes in the environments, BTW, I know you guys won't do it, but I'd do anything for weather options, foggy, rain, thunder, just cosmetic changes, imagine the rain splashes that the cars could create going really fast.

I was just thinking about this the other day
Also imagine if when it rains you get a little less friction (not like grass/dirt) , just a bit more of oversteer so that you can drift easier. Imagine how cool would look when you drift in the corner and the water splashes on the side, especially in slow-mo

Hylis has
confirmed that the gameplay of Lagoon remains in such a way as it is in Trackmania Turbo nowadays.
