Thanks for this thread. I can't stop watching the Canyon trailer. It looks so awesome. Feels like a cousin of Stadium, which is awesome. I love Stadium's handling. Can't wait for beta! Hope I can get in somehow. Been playing Trackmania like a fiend, and I'm finally learning how to edit replays.

Have you noticed how many Americans started to write in the forum recently instead of what Hylis said in that interview before. That's good ;)

that's exactly the reason why Nadeo went to Ubisoft, because of the marketing system of them. I mean come on .. 14 million players and just 100 000 in America? that's really a inflationary gap :D

But also it was only 100k Americans cause USA was heading up with their games a lot, I mean they had way modern games than Europeans, so that's probably why it hasn't been popular there, but because TM2 chased modern games, therefore the game can bring a lot more people from America.

I live in America and I can tell you that very few people here have even heard of Trackmania. I read about the Original online but couldn't find it in any stores. I finaly ordered a copy and had it shipped to me and have been hooked ever since. However I have still never seen any versions of Trackmania in any stores here. If it was stocked in more stores people would buy it here for sure. If they ran a trailer in a television ad here I'm sure they'd sell millions. I've bought every version that has come out so far and each time it gets harder to find.
In my opinion there is no better driving game with an in game track editor than Trackmania.

That will cut down on sales here but I will still buy it, along with QM and SM.

Seems like the previous publisher could have done a better Job.
I cannot understand, why it was/is not on sale in the US...

The only downloadable version of TM2 would solve this problem, but then there still has to be done some advertisement. Because if no one knows of TM2, no one will download it... :?

But I think that if Nadeo release at less 3 environments, they maybe will release the game in the stores...

Edit : ManiaPlanet's anniversary in 3 days left...

But Maniaplanet is not launched yet. Only the forum ;)

Maybe they will make a boxed version very later, but I don't think so. We don't need to discuss it now here, since there is already a topic for this (only to prevent a discussion) ;)
